The Symons Beef Company is a family owned and operated business that is dedicated to producing the highest quality beef in central Oregon. Founded by Jeremy and JoHanna Symons in 2007, Symons Livestock LLC started as a ranching and feeding operation and has grown to integrate every step of the beef lifecycle which includes cow/calf operations, farming, feeding and growing cattle, animal health and nutrition, marketing and sales, and now providing local, clean and fresh beef to consumers.
Mother cows graze on forage in and around central Oregon throughout most of the year. When breeding livestock they hand select, with a careful and strategic process, using only the best genetics in the cattle industry.
Environmentally friendly techniques set the stage for the end result of clean and wholesome beef. They do not use pesticides, and their crops are fertilized organically, with manure that is collected from their cows. State-of-the-art irrigation equipment ensures that they are doing their part as water conservators. They consult with animal nutritionist specifically formulating rations with home-grown crops to produce balanced and nutritional diet for every animal.
